Cahal Pech Mayan Ruin

Cahal Pech was a hilltop home for the Mayan Elite. It has a strikingly different feel compared to nearby Xunantunich. Located in the town of San Ignacio , it is smaller, less touristy, and in a more wooded setting.

Both of these ruins are in the western Cayo District, and many people choose to see them both in the same day.
